Affiliate disclosure

The short version: we earn a commission when you buy through our links, you pay exactly the same price, and it does not change what we rank or what we say.

The Amazon Associates statement

Chill & Chamber is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Our Amazon tracking tag is t5sleep-20. It is applied automatically to every product link on this site, and it is the only tracking we use.

What this costs you

Nothing. The commission is paid by Amazon out of its own margin. The price you see and the price you pay are the price you would have paid arriving at Amazon any other way. We have no ability to change a price, offer a discount, or affect your order.

What it does not affect

  • What we rank. Products are ordered on published construction and buyer fit, not commission. The criteria and their weights are set out on how we pick so you can re-rank them yourself.
  • What we say.Every roundup on this site names at least one product, or one whole category, that we advise against buying — usually a best-seller. We earn nothing when you take that advice, which is the point of giving it.
  • Which categories we cover. Our cooling mattress page would be the highest-value page on the site if we ranked the brands the competition ranks. We cannot link those brands, so instead the page opens by saying so and recommends only what you can actually buy through us.

What we do not do

  • No sponsored placements. No brand has paid for a position on this site and none can.
  • No free product.We have accepted none. Accepting a unit would make “we have not tested these” both untrue and unverifiable.
  • No manufacturer review of our copy. No brand has seen a page here before it was published.
  • No tracking links for programs we have not joined. Where we mention a brand we have no affiliate relationship with, the link is plain and untracked and the page says we earn nothing from it.

Prices, and why they expire

Every price on this site is fetched live from Amazon and stamped with the date it was read — currently July 23, 2026. No price is typed into a page; the product data model has no price field, so a stale price is not something we have to remember to avoid.

Prices also expire on their own. Anything older than 48 hours is hidden automatically and the button falls back to “Check price on Amazon”. If our refresh breaks, you see no number rather than a wrong one. Amazon prices change frequently, so the price you see at checkout is the one that counts.

How links are built

Product links on this site point at /go/<product> on our own domain, which then redirects to the retailer with our tag applied. This keeps the destination in one configuration file rather than written into hundreds of pages, which means a link can be corrected or repointed in one place when a product is discontinued. The redirect is excluded from search indexing and carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"in line with Google’s link-spam policy.

Retailers we currently work with

Amazon is our only affiliate partner. That is the normal state of a site this new: affiliate programs are approved over time, and we do not build tracking links for programs we have not joined.

We mention these brands where they are relevant and earn nothing from them. Links to them are plain and untracked:
