Chill & Chamber (“we”, “us”) is published by Type 5 Marketing LLC. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.

What this site is

An independent publisher writing about cooling bedding. We do not sell anything, hold stock, take payment or ship products. Every purchase you make happens on a retailer’s own site, under that retailer’s terms, and your order is with them.

Our content is opinion and compiled information

Our recommendations are editorial judgments based on specifications published by sellers and manufacturers, plus reasoning about how those constructions handle heat. We state plainly across the site that we have not tested these products— we do not own them and we have no laboratory. Our methodology page sets out exactly what we do instead.

Product specifications are read from listings on a specific dated visit, recorded on each product write-up. Sellers change listings, reformulate products and discontinue models without notice. Always check the current listing before you buy, and treat what the seller says at the moment of purchase as authoritative over what we recorded earlier.

No medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice and it is not intended as a substitute for professional care. We write about the thermal environment of a bed — mattress, bedding and room — and nothing else. We hold no medical credential and make no claim to one. If you are experiencing persistent night sweats or a sleep problem that concerns you, speak to a doctor.

Affiliate links

We earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no additional cost to you. This is disclosed above the fold on every page carrying such a link, in the footer sitewide, and in full on our affiliate disclosure page. Commission does not affect our rankings or our conclusions, and every roundup names at least one product we advise against buying.

Prices

Prices shown are fetched from the retailer and stamped with the date they were read. They expire automatically after 48 hours rather than being shown stale. Retailer prices change frequently and the price at checkout is the only one that counts. We are not able to honor, match or affect any price.

Accuracy and limitation of liability

We work hard to be accurate and we correct errors promptly, logged and dated on our editorial policy page. Even so, the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Type 5 Marketing LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of this site or from any purchase you make through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Third-party sites

We link to retailers, manufacturers, standards bodies and certification registries. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices. Following an outbound link means their terms apply, not ours.

Intellectual property

The text, structure, tables and original analysis on this site are ours and are protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back. You may not republish substantial portions, or use our content to train a commercial model that reproduces it, without written permission.

Product images are supplied by the retailer via its API and remain the property of their respective owners. Editorial photography is licensed stock, credited in our repository. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used descriptively.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it in a way that burdens the service. Automated access for reasonable, well-behaved indexing is welcome — our robots.txt explicitly permits every major AI and search crawler, and llms.txt describes the site for them. Both are served from the usual root paths.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be described in the text rather than slipped in behind a date change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
